Welcome to our Eco Committee area!
Why do we have an Eco Committee?
The Eco Committee is a great opportunity for our pupils to get more involved in the way Neroche is run and help it to be more environmentally friendly. The committee benefits the whole school, pupils and teachers, because it provides opportunities for pupils to communicate their feelings as well as influence decisions that are made. We also aim to have an impact on the wider community too!
Who can be a member of our school’s Eco Committee?
A new Eco Committee is selected each school year, with representatives from all classes, starting in Reception up to Year 6.
What do we do?
Members of the Eco Commitee take part in regular meetings with Mrs Oliver to discuss issues within the school and plan for ways to promote our eco ethos! Committee members are responsible for sharing news and information with their classes. They are also able to suggest and recommend new ideas to the Eco Committee during meetings.
