Do you ensure staff and students are encouraged to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer when in public places or after using public transport? Yes all staff and children are encouraged to wash hands regularly and use hand sanitizer regularly throughout the day.

NO PUBLIC transport used by staff or pupils so not a consideration.
Staff and children wash hands/sanitize hands on arrival.

Do you ensure staff and students are encouraged to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer after coughing or sneezing? Yes this is part of general practice at school.
Staff encourage children to always wash hands after blowing noses or sneezing.

Do you ensure staff and students are encouraged to sneeze or cough into their hands or a tissue? The tissue should be disposed of correctly after use. Yes this is part of general practice at school.
If tissues are used they are disposed on into a lidded bin.
Hands are washed or sanitized after.

Have you considered displaying posters on hand and respiratory hygiene and safe food practices around the building? Children wash hands before eating.
Hand washing posters are in toilet areas.
Hand sanitizer is clearly labelled in child recognizable notices.

Do you ensure staff, parents and students are informed not to come into the school should they suspect they and/ or their child are suffering with symptoms of the coronavirus? Symptoms include: cough, sore throat, fever, breathing difficulties and chest pain. Yes all families have received notification of this.
County flowchart has been shared with all families giving them specific instruction and what to do if their child develops symptoms.
Staff and families are reminded about the expectation to be tested.

Are procedures in place should you suspect a person has come into the school suffering with the coronavirus? Yes the Headteacher's office will be used to isolate any suspected cases as can be isolated and ventilated as an individual room.
COVID specific room bomb/sanitisers on the premises to use to sanitise the room before reusing.
Will be sent home immediately and encouraged to get a PCR test.
